This is why in Glasgow we particularly recommend Native Glasgow, which is a modern boutique aparthotel set in an historic building. From the legendary Barrowland Ballroom, where the walls are steeped in musical history, to the intimate King Tut's Wah Wah Hut, which has played a pivotal role in launching the careers of global music icons, Glasgow's live music venues are a testament to the city's love affair with melody and rhythm.
Not far from the city's bustling streets lie some of Scotland's most breathtaking natural landscapes.
If that wasn't enough, thanks to Glasgow's accepting nature, you'll be welcome in any other venue in the city so you're safe to explore and find your ideal night out. A trip over the Forth Road Bridge is pretty spectacular too!
3-Day Isle of Skye, Inverness and Highlands
See and do everything all at once on this iconic tour of Scotland’s best nature.
Always busy, this centrally located pub offers a range of real ales, craft beers, and food – with pretty strong cocktails and a buzzing atmosphere.
The spectacular design, in the Italian Renaissance Barryesque palazzo style, set the tone for the west end of George Square, at that time as a bank – but today, the bank’s former vaults serve as a more intimate space for socializing – complete with original iron gates, walls of security box doors and a heavy ‘anti-explosive and anti-blowpipe’ vaulted entrance.
This club is a safe space for everyone so you can feel comfortable partying here, which is lucky since there's a party or themed event hosted here multiple nights a week.

Katie's Bar
1 review
Katie's Bar offers an utterly mixed bag to the city's gay nightlife.
Well priced food and cocktails draw people here, and they stay for the great entertainment. We still don’t understand why Dumbledore had to die, though…
St Andrews & Fife’s Fishing Villages
The medieval kingdom of Fife is one of the most photographed spots in Scotland, as is the picturesque Falkland landscape with its former royal palace.
Much of the original Victorian décor remains today, and the interior is still one of the city’s finest-ever bank interiors – although now, obviously, a highly popular and extremely busy pub instead!
The Berkeley Suite
We are all partial to a good secret bar, and in Glasgow, there are quite a few, but this place was easily our favorite.
You won’t find your gay anthems here, but plenty of alt-tunes and cutting-edge indie. The wait staff is super cute and worth going for alone! The Merchant City social hub prides itself on a fun party atmosphere, affordable drink deals, top guest performers and plenty of quirky events that keep its fan base coming back time and time again.
