Selling The OC: The Drama Between Austin Victoria, Tyler Stanaland, & Sean Palmieri Explained
Summary
- Selling the OC season 3 is packed with dramatic tension between agents Sean, Austin, and Tyler, filled with accusations and confrontations.
Sean also alleges that they hung out multiple times a week and Tyler would cook him dinners. The hit real estate show is a spinoff of Selling Sunset, which has seven seasons available to stream on Netflix. Sean went all in on attacking Austin and Tyler for allegedly coming on to him and being mad when he denied them.
Sean, who never sold any real estate with The O Group, has since left the office (via US Weekly.) Tyler and Austin appear to still be friends through all the drama, but Tyler has also left The O Group to work with his dad.
(Alex and Tyler have both denied cheating accusations.)
By the time season two debuted in September 2023, Tyler had finalized his divorce from the Pitch Perfect star and was once again fueling relationship speculation with Alex. It has been reported that both Sean and Tyler have left the Oppenheim Group.
Now- there is no concrete evidence to support claims that Tyler is gay- this is all speculation based on rumors stemming from the latest season drop.
“He’s so controlling, he’s so rude,” alleges Sean in the clip, referencing the supposed lengthy text messages. Women are crazy. Following that, Sean sat down with Kayla Cardona and Ali Harper and dished on his animosity with Austin.
"Austin and I were chill. In front of their coworkers, Sean claimed that Tyler had assured him he was his "best friend for life" and sent him heart emojis.
Tyler, in a confessional, defended his use of heart emojis, saying, "If a heart emoji is inappropriate, then I'm inappropriate with everybody I text." Later, Sean showed images of Instagram DMs where Tyler had suggested romantic plans, including a video of two women sipping wine with their legs wrapped around each other, implying it was them.
Tyler walked away from the confrontation and he and Alex Hall commented that Sean would not last much longer at The O Group.
Where Did Things Leave Off Between Sean, Tyler, and Austin? Sean made a "joke" about Tyler only being successful because of his connected father at the group "bondfire," and it spoke to the resentment that existed between the two, and Austin had Tyler's back.
"A mutual commitment was made, both personally and legally, to never speak about the complexities of my marriage publicly and I plan to honor that."
"I do, however, want to make it clear that I was never unfaithful in my marriage," he continued, "and the accusations of infidelity couldn't be further from the truth."
Tyler concluded with a message about Brittany, who he'd wed in March 2020, wishing her "nothing but the best."
